About me
Welcome! I am Clair Dietz, a professional music teacher and performer with a passion for sharing my love of music. I teach music at two elementary schools in the Pacific Northwest and offer private lessons and performances for special occasions. My music education background includes a bachelor's degree in Cello Performance and Music Education from the University of Oregon. When I'm not teaching or performing, I enjoy staying active by engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking, jogging, and biking.
My Story:

My cello journey began when I was 10 years old, and it was love at first note! The deep, rich sound of the instrument resonated with me, and I knew music would forever be a part of my life.

To share my passion with others, I've created a website that highlights my musical experiences, including my senior degree recital with a friend from the University of Oregon. Our violin and cello duet filled the evening air, creating a truly magical atmosphere.

The next photo is of my friend Julie and I performing for a wonderful celebration of life at Willamette Lutheran Retirement home. We blessed the ceremony with beautiful duets!

The third photo is of my friend Melody and I. We were preparing for a park concert in a month and needed a photo for the poster!

The last photo is of my wonderful cello professor and I hiking up Spencer's Butte in Eugene Oregon. A wonderful overcast day on top on a beautiful summit.

Thank you for visiting my website! 🎶
